Plastic pollution continues to be a growing challenge across South Africa, affecting communities, landfills, and natural environments. Large volumes of plastic waste are generated every day, yet much of it is not properly recycled or reused, creating long-term environmental damage.

Kuluhlaza Trading was established to address this challenge in a practical way. By combining community-based plastic collection with sustainable manufacturing, we created a model that turns waste into value. Plastic collected through our buy-back center is transformed into Green Pavers, providing a durable construction product while supporting livelihoods and promoting cleaner, more sustainable communities.
